It is the perfect hostess or special occasion gift (birthday, engagement, wedding, baby shower, or just because!). The glass was cold worked to smooth the edges and then slumped into a decorative plate mold. This required two firings, or approximately 15 hours. Plate measures 9" x 4". Sauce bowls measure 3" x 4".
